A temporary exhibition commissioned by Luiza Clode with the support of Francisco Clode de Sousa, included in the commemorations of the Jubilee Year 2000. Works from the Diocese of Funchal were presented, illustrating the various thematic areas: Christ Yesterday, composed of works related to the Old Testament; Christ Today, with pieces on the themes of the incarnation, birth, public life, passion, death and resurrection of Jesus and the coming of the Holy Spirit; in the third section, the theme Christ Always was dedicated to the popular Saints and protectors.
A research catalogue was published by the Museum with the support of the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs.
